Rhea Murphy

On November 10th, 2024 my beloved wife Rhea Murphy, of Yakima, Washington, lost her long and courageous battle with multiple health issues. Since we met in high school we have loved and cared for each other. Rhea enjoyed her beloved family, friends, and was the most caring person to everyone. She loved horses and after she could no longer ride, she collected Breyer model horses and enjoyed finding new ones. Rhea worked in the health care industry for years as a nurse and caregiver. Rhea gave us our son Dewayne and he was her pride and joy until his passing on May 11, 2009. Rhea is survived by her husband Dale, brothers Johnnie Moore (Sheri), Elroy Moore (Beverly), Jesse Moore (Helen) Russell Garvin; sisters Monarae Doyle, Raye Kennett (Tom), best friend Betty Murphy (sister in law) and Teresa McDonald. Grandsons Dewayne Murphy, Jr. and Logan Murphy (Jessica) and Great granddaughter Eva Murphy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rhea loved to laugh and was a friend to all. She will be deeply missed. Rhea is at last without pain and suffering and at peace. There will be no services at her request, we will have a gravesite gathering at a date to be announce.
