Renee Broncheau White

Renee Louise Broncheau White 79, born July 12,1947 passed away peacefully at her home September 8,2026 surrounded by her loves ones and receiving hospice care. Renee was proceeded in death by her father Joseph Gabriel Broncheau, her mother Matilda Minthorne. 2 brothers,2 sisters.

Renee was a very proud Nez-Perce (Nimiipuu) woman, and she took great pride in her heritage. Her smile and laughter were truly contagious. She took pride in everything she did. By nature, she was a private woman, yet her quiet presence spoke volumes.She carried herself with integrity and genuine warmth, always more concerned with the well-being of others than drawing attention to herself. She graduated Clarkston high school from Clarkston WA. She took great pride in her sobriety since 1980. She persevered throughout the years in her early recovery, she pursued her calling with remarkable dedication — earning her bachelor’s degree in substance use disorder from Heritage College in 1991, and later her master’s degree in social work from Walla Walla College in 2002. Throughout her career, which spanned communities across the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, and Oregon, she served as both advocate and role model, walking alongside those navigating some of life’s most difficult roads. She started working in 2000 for the Yakama Nation and also as a social worker for Washington state. Where she retired from in 2015.

Renee enjoyed traveling to casinos with her husband James D White (Dennis) together they delighted in their casino adventures near and far. In previous years she also had a love for BINGO. When she was still, Renee could often be found beading which she took great pride in, specifically her wallets and coin purses ,one of a kind pieces a tradition passed down from her late Aunt Nellie Stanfield. Renee had a deep and everlasting love for her loves ones.

At home, she was equally cherished. Renee is survived by her husband of 43 years James D White,(Dennis), her pup Monchee her constant companion; her loving daughter, Gabrielle John; her grandchildren, Kateri Fauzey, Elias Fauzey and his wife Lindsey, Wakia Fauzey, Mariah Wisti, and Leroy James Fauzey; her great-grandson, who carries her spirit forward.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato, Washington, with the Rosary prayed from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Mass to follow on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church, 213 North Beach Street, Toppenish, Washington 98948.

She was loved deeply, and she will be missed just as much.
