Refugio Roa

Refugio “Cuco” Roa, age 54 of Wapato was called to be with our Lord and Savior Christ on February 12, 2021 at Cottage in The Meadow. He was born November 18th, 1966 in Toppenish, Washington to Daniel M. Roa and Ramona Sanchez-Roa. He is preceded in death by his father Daniel M. Roa Cuco is survived by his mother, Ramona Sanchez-Roa, his four children Christopher Roa, Francesca Roa, Timothy Roa and Elena Roa, two brothers James “Jimmy” Roa and Daniel Roa. Three grandchildren Joshua and Joziah Roa and Ambellina Warren. Also numerous family members. Cuco lived his life in Wapato, and attended High School there. After high school, he worked as a forklift driver at many warehouses around Yakima Valley. Cuco was a hard worker all of his life and that is one trait he proudly passed on to his children. When Cuco was not working, he loved spending time with his children, his grandchildren and his mom. He enjoyed landscaping, thrift shopping, detailing his cars, listening to Gospel music and to his oldies and being in good company. Cuco was a great man of God. He loved going to church, and serving the Lord. He enjoyed ministry and giving bible studies to others. Cuco will be missed by everyone that knew him. Viewing will be held March 2nd, 2021 at Life Church in Union Gap from 4PM to 7PM. Celebration of Life will be March 3rd at Life Church from 9AM to 11AM with burial to follow at Reservation Community Memorial in Wapato. Cuco is survived by his mother, Ramona Sanchez-Roa, his four children Christopher Roa, Francesca Roa, Timothy Roa and Elena Roa, two brothers James “Jimmy” Roa and Daniel Roa. Three grandchildren Joshua and Joziah Roa and Ambellina Warren. Also numerous family members.
