Rebecca Beth Irwin, 38, courageously fought a battle with a rare form of heart cancer, and on April 23, 2016 was called to her forever home in Heaven.
Becky was born on April 10, 1978 to Ron and Vickie Roettger of Mabton. She attended Prosser schools, where she grew her love for dance through cheer and drill team. She was active in 4H from years 9-18 and won many awards riding horses. She took piano for eight years and had an extraordinary love for music. She married Jeff Kopp in 1998 with whom she had 2 beautiful daughters, Morgan and Madison.
Becky started working at Hoops in 2002 and it was at this place where she met many friends that became family. She loved everyone and was loved by all. Becky had an infectious spirit. She was a witty people-person who found great joy in teasing and laughing with her friends. Becky married the love of her life, Max Irwin, in 2013 and gained two more beautiful daughters and a granddaughter who she loved as her own. Becky loved Jesus, loved serving Him at Together Church, and loved her worship music.
Becky is survived by her husband, Max; her parents Ron and Vickie; brother Jared; daughters: Morgan, Madison, Shayla and Megan; and granddaughter Jaylee.
Viewing will be 3-7pm, Thursday, April 28th at Valley Hills Funeral Home (2600 Business Ln, Yakima). Public reception at Selah Elks, 3:30pm on Friday, April 29th. We would also like to invite everyone to celebrate her life at Together Church, May 6th at 6:00pm
