Ramona Ontiveros

Ramona Ontiveros, 89, of Sunnyside died Tuesday. Mrs. Ontiveros was born in Texas. Survivors include four sons, Nick Ontiveros of New Mexico, Juan Ontiveros of Denver, Tomas Ontiveros of Yakima and Lorenzo Ontiveros of Mabton; three daughters, Mari Inez and Maria Isabelle Martinez, both of Mabton, and Maria Estella of Toppenish; a sister, Julia Rodriguez; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at Valley Hills Funeral Home of Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Sunnyside. Graveside services will follow in the Mabton Cemetery.
