Ramon Torres Camacho passed away on January 10, 2024 in Yakima, WA.
Ramon was born on August 5, 1956 to Antonio and Dolores Camacho in Pénjamo, Guanajuato Mexico. He moved to Granger, WA in the 70s. Ramon was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, uncle and friend. Ramon spent most of this life working in the fields with different farmers in the Yakima Valley. If he wasn’t working, he was in his garden. Ramon enjoyed being around his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Camacho; his children Frank(Reyna), David, Andrea, Angela, Mari, Anna (Marco) and Ramon; his sisters Raquel, Glafira, Amelia and Guadalupe; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by all that loved him.
Preceding Ramon in death were his parents, Antonio and Dolores Camacho and his sister, Carmen Camacho.
A special thanks to the nurses at the DaVita Mt Adams Kidney Center in Sunnyside and the nurses at the Cottage in the Meadow Hospice Center in Yakima. They made sure he was comfortable during his last days.
Visitations will be on Monday, January 15th from 4-7 at Zillah Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00 am at Our Virgin de Guadalupe Church in Granger with a burial to follow at the Zillah Cemetery. Reception will be at the Granger Lions Club after the burial.
