Primitivo Juarez was born on June 9, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2020. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Simon Juarez and Maria de Jesus Rojas, he had 6 siblings and was the eldest of the boys. His father passed away when he was 9 years old so he became the man of the house, he went to work and helped his mother provide for the family so he did not have the luxury of attending school. In 1944 he met his wife Eluteria Salinas at a carnival in Asherton, TX and they began courting. They were married in Forsyth, Montana April 28, 1945. On April 5, 1946, they welcomed their first child Hector, after him, they had Rosa, Ruben, Blanca, Carlos, and Joel. They followed his brother in law Reynaldo, and came with Grandpa and Grandma Salinas to Sunnyside and that is where they stayed, they rented an apartment in an old schoolhouse and later purchased this property that is known as El Rancho de Los Juarez. Through the years he helped many of his family members and his in-laws by providing lodging for them or helping to raise their children. Primo would plant a garden and raised livestock to provide for his family. After he retired his garden was his leisure and tending to his chickens. He would travel back and forth from Sunnyside to the Coast and to California to visit the family in his red Cadillac. On February 18, 2013, he was baptized in Jesus' name at the age of 88 by his son Carlos. He stayed with his daughter Rosie in CA for a while then he went to Marysville and lived with his son’s Joel and Carlos for the last 2 years. He was a faithful member of Casa de Dios Puerta del Cielo Iglesia Apostlica Misionera in Burlington, WA. He loved music and was very proud of his family because they played and sang, he also sang when he thought no one was listening. He spent a lot of time with his sons Hector, Carlos and Joel they were the fabulous 4. Primo would always express that he wanted to return to his home in Sunnyside but unfortunately, this never happened. On April 1, 2020, the Lord took him to his mansion in the sky to be with him and be in his garden. We will greatly miss him but he will forever be in our hearts till we meet again. Love you Dad, Grandpa. He is survived by his daughter Rosie Espinoza, sons Ruben Juarez and Carlos Juarez, 13 grand-children, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
