Preston Perry Pierce “Lucky” Wapato, Washington Preston P. Pierce 37 years of age passed away on Tuesday June 6th 2017. Preston was born in Toppenish, WA to Clarence “Horse” Pierce and Vanessa Yallup on August 14th, 1979. He is an enrolled member of the Yakima Nation. Preston attended Wapato Middle School, Toppenish Tribal School, and graduated from White Swan Fort Simcoe Job Corps. He worked for GSRS roofing Co. in Oregon, Yakima Nation Land Enterprise, sold firecrackers with his Uncle Chico Aranda and, worked concession stand at Pow Wows with his Grandparents. He loved sports and played Baseball, Basketball and Football. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling to Pow Wow, making fry bread, making friends, spending time with family and most of all spending time with his parents. He is survived by his parents Clarence Pierce and Venessa Yallup, Spouse Kara Kahama, his children Preston Pierce Jr., Isabella Pierce and Brittnie Kahama. Brothers Jason Garzia, George Yallup Visaya, and Chaney Pierce. Sister Cathrine Garzia. Grandfather Charlie Peirce. Grandmothers Aletha Price and Pavline Yallup. Numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces. Proceeded in death, Grandfather Wally Yallup, Aunts Joanna Yallup, Annette Yallup Bill, Cousins Sterling Yallup Enick, Star Aranda. Dressing will be held at Wapato Longhouse at 3:00 pm Overnight Services at the Wapto Longhouse Burial will be at the McCoy Cemetery at 8:00 am To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Preston Pierce, please visit our flower store.
