Peter Veliz

On September 15th, 2020 Peter “Pete” Veliz peacefully went to his heavenly home. He was born on February 29th, 1948 in Elgin Illinois. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He raised his family in Grandview where he worked and retired as a store manager, he loved to golf on a warm sunny day with family and friends, he was well known for his contagious smile and big heart. He helped so many people throughout his life at their hardest times with no hesitation. His family looked up to him in so many ways for the amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, and person he was. His memory will forever live on through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
