Peter William “Bill” Nagle passed away Sunday, April 7th at his home in Selah. He was born in Yakima in 1952 to George and Mary Nagle and lived in the Valley his entire Life. Bill married the love of his life Sandy (Roemer) in 1973 and had just celebrated their 46th anniversary. His family included four daughters and one son (who was his pride and joy), nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Bill’s greatest joy was spending time with his family whether it was making “Mickey Mouse” pancakes, his famous chocolate milkshakes or just getting together. He devoted his life to loving and caring for his family.
Bill began bird hunting at the age of 8 and took great pride in the sport. Whether it was fishing, gardening, or just busy working on some new project he loved the outdoors. Bill’s presence was difficult to ignore, he was a big man with a personality to match. He opened his door to anyone in need and not a day went by without a morning call to his sister and each of his children.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and brother. His passing leaves a great void in our lives. Until we meet again. "Grandpa, although I fear one day you will be gone, I shall always remember you singing me songs.”
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother Jim Murray. He is survived by his wife Sandy, children: Chantell (Lonney) Walker, Amber (Guadie) Sanchez, Melissa (Tom) Russell, Megan (Aaron) Collins, and Seth Nagle all of Selah; grandchildren: Halee (Joseph), Joshua (Kylie), Anthony, Alexiea (Kody), Maddison (William), Zachary, Thomas "Tommy", and Aaron "Little A” and Lane ”Little Red”; great grandchildren: Hudson, Kynzlee, and Jordan; siblings: Mary (Rod) Jones and George (Judy) Nagle; loving nieces and nephews as well as many who called Bill “Dad” or “Grandpa”.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Bill 2:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his daughter’s home (170 Graber Rd. Selah, WA).
