Pete Wise

Pete (Jesse) Wise died February 27, 2013 at the age of 63. Pete was born in Yakima on October 4, 1949. He worked in Yakima for over 20 years as a self-employed landscaper. In his spare time he enjoyed horseracing, reading, and spending time with his grand daughters. Pete is survived by his brothers, Mike Wise of Richland and Pat Wise of Zillah; sister, Marie Jaqua of Cayucos, CA; step-daughters, Rachel DeMarco and Natalie Tinkham of Yakima and Nacole Webb of Pennsylvania; two granddaughters and many nephews and nieces. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Wise and by his beloved wife, Deborah Kirby Wise. Throughout his life, Pete overcame many obstacles and adversities. He was a man of strength, courage, and a kind heart. He will be missed by his family and friends who loved him greatly. Visitation will be offered today, March 5 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
