Paula E. Schille passed quietly away at Cottage in the Meadow surrounded by family and friends on September 28th due to complications from a stroke suffered on August 8th while camping during the annual cousin’s campout.
Paula was born March 23,1950 to Frances (Stoltenow) Klatte and Donald Klatte at the Swedish Hospital in Seattle. She graduated from Highland High School in 1968 and married Jack Hawkins the same year. They had two daughters, Jacci and Andrea. In 1983 she married Pat Schille and resided in Cowiche.
Paula retired from Pepsi after thirty years. She loved God first and her family and friends. Her favorite vacation was our yearly family vacation at Pacific Beach where she could always feel God’s presence. She also loved the mountains, her yard, the Seahawks and reading among many pastimes.
She leaves behind her husband Pat, daughters Jacci (John) Kluberton of Benton City, Andrea (John) Henderson of Bothell. Grandchildren: Kienna Richards, Kyliah Richards, Keenan Hawkins, Luna Henderson, June Henderson, Quinn Henderson, Maile, Zander and Mei Schille. Also survived by Traci (Steve) Agaero and Jeff Schille, Sister Rhonda (Tony) Hauck and niece Kealoha Wells
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 13th, at the Highland Community Church (16000 Summitview Rd., Cowiche) at 12:00 noon with her favorite meal served afterwards. Please dress casually and wear bright and cheery clothing. Her favorite color was yellow.
