Patricia Hill

Patricia L. Hill age 86 passed away Tuesday July 4, 2017. Patricia was born in Seattle, WA on October 21, 1930. She was raised by her parents Dr. V.E. and Nellie Holt in the Yakima Valley until 1938 when the family moved to the Nile Valley. It's here where Pat’s love for animals began on the family farm and with her uncle Dr. Douglas Holt on the Palomino Horse Ranch - The Flying H. She loved horses and work at The Flying H Ranch for many years. Pat attended school in Naches where she met Irene who would become her life long friend. After graduating from Naches High School, Pat attended Lower Columbia Community College for 2 years. She then began her career as a bookkeeper and later an office manager. She retired in 1990 from Price Cold Storage after 26 years of employment to enjoy her garden and her yard, friends, family, dogs and her husband Johnny - the love her life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son, Mick, and grandsons Shaun and Justin and great granddaughter Paityn Rose. She loved to volunteer her time at the Humane Society and was always willing to help family or friends at any time. Pat was preceded in death by her husband John H. Hill, parents Dr. and Mrs. V.E Holt and brother Richard V. Holt. She is survived by a son Michael V Weller and wife Donna, a brother, Raymond Holt and wife Joelina, grandsons Shaun M. Weller and Justin M. Weller, and great granddaughter Paityn Rose Weller and best friend Irene Park. Patricia will be forever in all of our hearts.
