Patricia Anne Hall, 75, of Nile Washington died August 20, 2025 after living fiercely and gracefully with stage four cancer since 2021.

Patricia “Patti”, was born in Yakima, Washington on December 29, 1949. Her early years were spent in her beloved grandparent’s farmhouse in West Valley where she also attended Ahtanum Elementary. Patti’s favorite childhood memories included spending time farming with her grandfather Ernest Peckman, raising animals including her horse Rocky and dog Juneau, and participating in 4-H. After her family moved to Selah, she attended Selah High School, where she loved singing in choir.

After graduation, Patti attended YVC and airline training school, intending to become a ticket agent. Instead, she met a handsome young man, Ed Hall, while racing at a stoplight on Yakima Ave. They were married two years later. Ed and Patti lived and worked for the next 13 years in the Yakima Valley as Ed progressed in his career with Yakima County Public Works. During their early years of marriage, Patti worked various jobs including at Moss Adams and a local radio station, but her heart was for her home and her family. Patti spent the majority of her life building a happy, loving home for her husband and daughters. Patti loved her family and was an endless supporter of her daughters’ aspirations.

In 1985, Ed and Patti moved to the Nile Valley on Chinook Pass and settled down on 5 acres. They spent the next 40 years there, raising their girls and serving faithfully in their local congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. From her early childhood, Patti held a deep faith in Christ.

She was a patient teacher and loving mother, shepherding all four daughters through 12 years of homeschool. She taught her girls how to grow a garden, can peaches, bottle feed lambs, care for chickens, kill spiders, set a proper tea, read poetry, be brave and appreciate the beauty all around us every single day. Patti loved her flower garden, the hummingbirds, and the other backyard wildlife that came regularly to visit. As a family, Patti and Ed took their daughters on frequent trips exploring the Western US and Canada where they made many priceless memories.

We are inspired by Patti’s love and bravery. Before she passed, she told us how much she would miss us all, and until we meet again, we will miss her too.

Patti is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Ed, and her four daughters, Amanda Hall of Pasco, WA, Elizabeth (Daniel) Stephenson of Lemhi, ID, Marianne Hall of Ellensburg, WA and Katherine (Bradley) Filter of Florence, OR. Her six grandchildren had a special place in her heart: Bridger, Jed, Madeleine, Lydia, Sayler, and Flynn. They will miss their Gram so much with her warm hugs, her knock knock jokes on their birthday cards, and her world class fried chicken. Patti also leaves behind her four siblings: Debbie (Lynn) Paddock of Westport, WA, Larry (Kenda) Peckman of Selah, WA, Jerry (Sharon) Peckman of Yakima, WA, Gary (Tish) Peckman of Post Falls, ID and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Patti will be held on September 4, 2025 at 11AM at the local chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 533 Naches Ave, Naches, WA.
