Heaven has gained a new angel with powerful wings. Norma L. Acosta left this world on February 12, 2022. She was born on July 21, 1954 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Antonio and Adelina (Garcia) Guerrero.
In 1972 she graduated from Sunnyside High School and married her high school sweetheart Gilbert Acosta in 1975. They began their lives together in Moses Lake and eventually moved to Mabton to raise their family. Norma was a born advocate. She was always willing to help others and could see right through a problem immediately.
She loved to read, watch westerns, barbecue and enjoy Mariachi music. She will be sorely missed, but we know that she is watching over her family and friends.
Norma is survived by her Husband of 46 years, Gilbert Acosta Sr. Her children: Stephen Acosta (Sandra), Leticia Echevarria (Robert) and Gilbert Acosta Jr. Her grandchildren: Brianna, Jocelynn, Cristian, Michael, Brooklyn and Román. Her siblings: San Juanita (Richard) Nelson, Gilbert (Enedina) Guerrero, Nina (Glenn) Visconti, Anthony Guerrero, and Sylvia (Del) Campos. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Adelina Guerrero, brother Hector Guerrero, and Grandson Crucificio Acosta.
