Noe Gutierrez

Noe Gutierrez 75, died March 28, 2016 at his home in Sunnyside WA. He was born March 30, 1940 in Edcouch Texas. A favorite pastime for Noe was playing baseball. He and his brothers played in Anson Texas working all day and traveling to play baseball games at night. He had many fond memories of those "road" trips. He met and married Dora Gutierrez and were together for nearly 40 years! Noe Gutierrez was a respected hard working man who was never afraid to tell you how it was. He started and owned a successful septic tank business "All State Septic" but after 5 years due to heart issues sold the business. He later worked for Safeway Plant in Grandview WA until the plant closed. In Noe's Retirement he enjoyed raising animals and mostly helping raise his grandkids. Changing diapers was a new found art for Noe Gutierrez which he surprisingly mastered. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dora (Castiellja) Gutierrez, Father Gilberto Gutierrez and mother Juanita (Gonzalez) Gutierrez, Father -in-law Rafael Castiellja and Alicia (Maltos) Castiellja. He is survived by his sons; Joe Gutierrez of Sunnyside WA, Noe Atkinson of Portland Or, Lino and his wife Tiffany Gutierrez of Richland WA. Four grandchildren; Anthony & Arianna Gutierrez of Richland WA and Brandy & Jared Atkinson of Prosser WA. Three brothers; Gilberto and Maria Gutierrez of Moxee WA and their children. Renee Gutierrez of Prosser WA and his sons, Isauro and Maria Gutierrez of Sunnyside WA and there children. Noe and his family moved from Elsa Texas in 1951 to Outlook WA. They lived in Outlook and attended the Sunnyside School District. In 1965 Noe and his family purchased a home and lived in Prosser WA. Services will be held at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside WA @ 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, 531 16th street Sunnyside WA 98944.
