Neva Rose (Stone) Benson, 91, of Onalaska, Washington went to be with her Lord Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at home with family. She was born February 16, 1926 in Waitley, Colorado to Jacob Guy Reynolds and Myrtle Elizabeth (Beckman) Reynolds. Neva married Lyman M Stone on March 25, 1942 and lived in Texas and California, moving to Yakima, Washington where they had a dairy and raised their children. Lyman passed away on June 27, 1969. In April 1970 Neva married Cecil Hetrick. Cecil passed away in January 1971. She then married Silas Benson on December 30, 1972 and moved to his home in Onalaska, Washington. Si passed away in July 1999. Neva was always busy. She worked in Toppenish at the Del Monte cannery and in Wapato at the apple processing plant. After moving to Onalaska, she worked at Centerville Western Store, then the Weyerhaeuser Tree Farm. After retiring, Neva did volunteer work for the Senior Center, belonged to the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, Songbirds and the Presbyterian Church. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Guy & Elizabeth Reynolds, brothers, Dale, Leon, and Wayne, husbands, Lyman, Cecil, and Silas, children, Lawrence, Cindy, Linda, and Philip, stepson, Butch, and grandchildren, Crystal Ann, and Tommy. She is survived by brother Chuck Reynolds, Leavenworth, WA, sisters Faye (Jim) Davenport, Yakima, WA, and Mae (Tom) Stewart, Yakima, WA; children Karen (Leonard) McKenzie, Puyallup, WA; and Clifford (Kathy) Stone, Onalaska, WA; grandchildren Lori Rae, Michael, Clifford, and Lynette, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as step children and grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held in Toppenish at the United Pentecostal Church, 101 S. E Street on Friday June 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm, and in Onalaska at the Presbyterian Church, 288 Carlisle Avenue on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 am.
