Neosha Roth

October 11, 1928 — June 27, 2019

Neosha Faye Roth passed away June 27, 2019. As a strong believer, we know she is now in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord. Neosha was born Oct. 11, 1928 in Beloit, KS. to Marcus and Roena Wells. Neosha and her family traveled from Kansas to Zillah, WA. when she was a young girl. Neosha graduated from Zillah High School. She met her husband, Clarence, at a grange dance. They married November 9, 1947. They settled in the Wapato area. She was a stay at home mom, but as her children went to school, she began working outside the home. She was a cabinet installer in motor homes for Mair & Sons, she worked in fruit warehouses, packing and sorting fruit and she also worked in the Deli at Sav on Foods. Neosha was a faithful member at Hope Lutheran Church in Wapato, and when it closed in 1996, she transferred her membership to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Yakima. Neosha is survived by her three sons, Dennis Roth (Donna), Del Roth, and David Roth (Doris) all of Wapato; one brother, Noel Wells (Shirley) and one sister, Nancy Bellamy; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Neosha is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Roth; two brothers, Norman Wells and Norlan Wells; two sisters, Norma Longtin and Neoma Ashlock; one grandson, Jeramy Roth; one great grandson, Ethan Roth. A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 801 Tieton Drive Yakima, WA on July 20, 2019 @ 11:00 AM. A special thanks to the staff at Landmark Care Center and Avamere at Englewood Heights for their special attention given to Neosha and her family. Also thanks to Pauline Ylvisalker, Sonja Frazier, Bob Wurl, Pastor Mark Griesse, and Cathy Rodriquez for their caring visits, their spiritual comfort and the smiles they brought to Neosha’s face.
