Naomi Arendt, 86, passed away peacefully December 24, 2022 at Riverview Manor is Selah, WA. Naomi was born July 25, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI to Andrew and Gertrude DeHaan. She attended Jefferson High School in Portland, OR and graduated proudly with her class in 1954. After school she met and fell in love with William Arendt. The two love birds spent 68 beautiful years together until her passing. She was a proud mother to 3 handsome sons, William Jr., Scott and David.
When Naomi wasn’t home with the boys, she enjoyed her time working as a Cashier at Fred Meyers for 15 years of her life. She aslo enjoyed working as a Warehouse Manager for 10 years. Naomi was quite the homemaker but also enjoyed her hobbies, such as sewing, painting, loving on her pets and baking pastries! She also liked to golf, play tennis, go skiing, and not to mention fishing and camping! Naomi was always so full of life and a great joy to be around.
Naomi is survived by her loving Husband William Arendt, her 3 boys William Jr. (Shelly), Scott (Suwan), David all of Seattle area and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Gertrude DeHaan and brother Forest DeHaan. A Celebration of Life will be held in Naomi’s Honor at a later date.
