Myrtle Farretta

Myrtle Marie Farretta, 83, of Yakima died Sunday at home. Mrs. Farretta was born in Cordova, Alaska, and lived in the Yakima Valley for many years. She was a retail clerk. Survivors include a son, Thomas Farretta of Everett; two daughters, Jo Farretta and Rikki Pomerenke, both of Yakima; two brothers, Johnny Nichols and Bert Nichols, both of Cordova; two sisters, Elaine Lane of Stafford, Va., and Elizabeth Mai of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A family memorial gathering will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
