Our Angel Chief Miracle Shirley was called home by our Creator on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Trout Lake, WA in Indian Heaven.
He was educated at Wapato School District. He loved all of his classmates and teachers, especially his school mama: Miranda Gomez. He was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. He was a member of the Toppenish Creek Longhouse and Native American Church. He enjoyed doing Hippo therapy, horse riding, Rascal Rodeo, swimming, riding his polaris, and watching his cartoons. He loved to travel, go camping, skating. He loved his pets and spending time with his friends and Kristina Pinkham Daycare family including his Legends Casino Daycare family.
He is survived by his parents Ron Shirley Jr and Yas-lam Olney, brother, Wakiyan and sisters LaDawn, Cyra, Wi’yaka and Pejuta. Grandparents, Robert Olney Sr., Bonita Janis, Ron Shirley Sr., and Cynthia Mesplie. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents John and Dora Mesplie and Pete and Marie Olney.
Dressing and overnight services were held Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Wapato Longhouse. Burial will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 6 a.m. at the Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato, WA.
