Mildred Knox

Mildred (Millie Holeman) Knox, born April 9, 1929 died on May 14, 2019. Mildred passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Yakima. Millie was preceded in death by the love of her life Kenneth Holeman Sr.; two of her five sons: Jerry Holeman and Stanley Holeman; and her second husband Gary Knox (April 9, 2008). She is survived by her three other sons: Kenneth Holeman Jr. of Yakima, Randy Holeman of Kirkland, and Tim Holeman of Washougal; three daughter-in-laws: Candy Wilson, Judy Holeman and Shideh Holeman. Millie had 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Ken and Millie were married in the Smith Tower on July 10. 1945 after travelling from the Naval Base in Bremerton via the new Kalakula Ferry to Seattle. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan for their loving care. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, May 20, 2019 at Tahoma Cemetery (1802 Tahoma Ave., Yakima).
