Mildred Beaty

Mildred Marie Beaty at the age of 86 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2018. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Amy and Roscoe Corley on September 22, 1931. She was 1 of 9 siblings. She is survived by her children Garry (Janice) Beaty, Larry (Kathy) Beaty, Kathleen McFarlin and Tommy Gene Beaty. She was married to Lawrence Dewey Beaty and in 1956 they moved to Yakima to raise their family. They were married for 45 years until his death in 1995. She worked for Snokist growers; after she retired she volunteered for the Union Gospel Mission for many years. Mildred enjoyed the outdoors, doing crossword puzzles and even mastered the Rubick’s cube. She loved going out to movies and spending time with family. She was blessed to have 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She remained strong in mind and spirit to the very end of her life. A memorial service will be held Sunday June 10th at 2:00 p.m. at West Valley Foursquare Church, 5802 Summitview Avenue, Suite 130.
