Mike Cantu

Mike “Moose” Cantu 51 of Wapato passed away October 17, 2015 he was born in Toppenish, WA December 30, 1964 to Galdino and Dominga Cantu. He loved to spend time with family, especially his grandchildren being outside playing football, with the music playing. Mike loved being outdoors, dancing, oldies music, and Seahawks Football. He was raised in Granger, WA, and grew up in the lower valley. He worked as a general laborer at various locations. He is survived by his spouse; Barbara, three step children, nine grandchildren, hundreds of nieces, nephews, and numerous brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; Galindo and Dominga Cantu. Mike loved his family, being outdoors, dancing, oldies music, and Seahawks Football. Viewing and visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 23, 2015 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, October 24, 2015 followed by a reception at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
