Michelle De Luna

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of my mother, Michelle Lynn DeLuna. Mom passed away peacefully with us at her side, on November 23rd, 2024. Mom began her life on April 6, 1976 in Sunnyside, Washington, and was the joy of her parents, Ramon DeLuna and Lydia Lopez DeLuna. From the start, she lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her and since the beginning, she was always surrounded by family. She was guided by her grandparents Clara DeLuna and Ray DeLuna, and her father. This is a core value that she carried to the very end; she also set the example for family values which she learned from her mother and her father. Michelle was the coordinator of the family; she made sure that for holidays, celebrations and even just summer barbeques that we could all come together and have a day we would all remember. Michelle always spoke so highly about her mother, and now she reunites with her mother in heaven, with whom she can share the stories about her amazing life including her prides and joys, her 3 daughters who she is survived by: Chrishella Lynn DeLuna, Mireya Elena DeLuna, Lyliana Arae DeLuna and her first granddaughter, Yosiana Idalia DeLuna-Rodriguez. She is also survived by her 3 brothers: Paul Jay DeLuna, Christopher Ray DeLuna and Joseph Michael DeLuna. The immediate family that she is preceded in death by is her mother and her brother James DeLuna. Michelle will be missed but never forgotten, in this life and the next. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Valley Hills Funeral Home on November 30, 2024, at 12 pm - 3 pm.
