Michael Stump

Michael Ray Stump of Zillah passed away 2/27/2016 at Cottage in the Meadow during his struggle with Cancer. Born to Lola Marie Paz-Stump and Lester Howard Stump on 01/23/1956. He is preceded in death by both parents and one brother Lester Allen Stump. Mike was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. He attended Wapato Schools most of his formative years. He attended YVCC, earning an AA Degree in Civil Engineering. He also attended Heritage University and Achieved a Bachelors of Environmental Science. He married Candy Lea Mathews on a warm day April 23rd, 1977. Together they built a family and life that spanned his lifetime. He was a talented artist. He enjoyed oil painting and was good at it. He loved music, playing the guitar and piano. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Candy Lea Mathews-Stump their two beautiful children Jasmine Stump-Hollowell (Ryan), Cameron Stump (Crystal). Two Brothers, Howard Peters (Linda), Charles Paz (Tina). One Sister, Leslie Rendon (Joe). Barbara Scotten-Peters. Five grandchildren, Tadym Stump, Mathias Hollowell, LilliAna Hollowell and Lucas Cummings, Ethan Cummings. His Loving nieces and nephews.
