It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael D. Boylan, who passed away on June 20, 2026 at the age of 69.

Michael was born on June 5, 1957 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late James Thomas Boylan and the late Veronica (McClorey) Boylan. Throughout his life, he was known for his sense of humor and touched the lives of many.

Michael attended St. Bede the Venerable, St. Laurence and a nuclear engineering school in Oklahoma City and worked in quality control in the nuclear field for many years. He enjoyed reading, with a special interest in any kind of history, especially World War 1 and World War II.

Michael is survived by his siblings, James (Margo) Boylan, Kathleen (Thomas) Winge, Thomas (Eileen Hassel) Boylan, Timothy (Kathryn Boylan and the late Mary Margaret Boylan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Boylan, his mother, Veronica Boylan and his infant sister, Margaret Mary.

A celebration of life/memorial service will be held on a future date. Details are not known at this time.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family for their compassion and support during this difficult time.

Though Michael is no longer with us, his love, kindness and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
