Merle Hicks

Merle Hicks, 92, of Yakima died Sunday. Mr. Hicks was born in Butts, Mo., and served in the Army. He worked as a supervisor in bag manufacturing. Survivors include two sons, Ron Hicks of Yakima and Alan Hicks of San Diego; and a daughter, Kathy Ricker of Yakima. The funeral will be Jan. 3 in Alvarado Springs, Mo., with burial to follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo.
