Obituary

Mary Ann Sauve, age 80, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2026 at the Chandler House care facility in Yakima, WA.

Mary Ann was born on October 15, 1945 (in Yakima) and was the youngest child of George and Iva Van Horn.

Mary Ann attended different schools throughout the Yakima Valley and graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1964.

Mary Ann married Mike Sauve on June 5, 1965. They made their home on the family farm where they raised their three children: Jeff, Rick and Lori Ann.

Mary Ann stayed busy being the bookkeeper for the farm for many years. She enjoyed being with her entire family whether it be attending potlucks and playing card/board games at family gatherings and attending her children’s, and grandchildren’s, many different holiday, school and sporting events. She was always ready to help and cheer on her kids and grandkids.

Until her extended illness, Mary Ann attended Sunnyside Grace Brethren Church for many years.
