Martha Helen Dillman, age 85, passed away at home, April 9, 2019. Martha was born on December 26, 1933 in The Dalles, OR to Delbert and Stella Deyo.
She went to school in White Swan until age 16, and then graduated at LaConner, WA High School. After that on to Business School in Yakima, WA .
She meet her future husband working in the mint fields. She married her husband of 64 years, Wilbert Dillman on May 8, 1954.
She worked 2 years as a bank teller/Secretary but mostly a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening flowers & vegetables or picking up rocks. Her piles of rocks were infamous.
She was a baptized member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed studying the Bible and she would share her faith with anyone who would listen.
Martha is survived by 6 children; Leo Dillman, Annet Dillman, Roy (Jaci) Dillman, Glen Dillman, & (Fran Presher), Inga Dillman, and Mavis (Felix) Estrada and husband, Wilbert Dillman. Grandchildren; Blain, Amenda, Devon, Samantha & Brenda. Three great-grandchildren; Spencer, Amaya, and Issabella.
She is preceded in death by 3 siblings; Clara (Deyo) Hanssen, David Deyo, and her identical twin sister, Eunice (Deyo) Stiltner.
There will be a viewing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2019, followed by a memorial service for Martha at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato, WA at 11 a.m. Burial service to follow at the Reservation Community Memorial Park, West Wapato Rd. Afterwards, there will be a reception at Leisure Hill Mobile Home Club House in Union Gap, WA.
