Marjorie Wales

SELAH - Marjorie C. Wales, 90, of Selah died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Selah Convalescent Care. She was born in Topeka, KS on May 17, 1923 and lived in the Yakima Valley for more than 60 years. She met John T. Wales and married him in 1958. She worked for a local nursery for over 5 years and for the West Valley Nursing Home for 2 years, and she was a homemaker. Marjorie loved working in her yard and she loved the ocean. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Yakima. Marjorie is survived by her husband, John Wales of Selah and her sister, Geneva Brown of Topeka, KS. Visitation will be offered today, October 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home of Yakima.
