Marjorie Mcdaniel

Marjorie McDaniel 87 of Sunnyside passed away March 23, 2013 with family by her side. In 1944 she married Grover McDaniel and after many moves settled in Sunnyside in 1964. Marjorie was a woman of many talents and different professions from dairy farmer to motel manager. Her greatest achievement was being our mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sunnyside. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; Arthur and Tomah Backhaus. Sons; Wayne and Kelly, former husband Grover McDaniel and sisters Jeannette Nelson and Medora Wolff. She is survived by her children: Steve (Carol) McDaniel, Lee (Beverly) McDaniel, Dennis (Sonja) McDaniel, and Wendy (Raul) Casas. Grandchildren Brandon, Michele, Melanie, Cyrena, Darian, Joanne, and Patricia: also numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sunnyside, followed by a luncheon. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
