Marion Edna parry, 89, died November 2, 2018 at home in Zillah, WA where she lived with her daughter Tammy Robillard. She was born on Dec. 30, 1928 in Glennville, Minnesota, the daughter of Edgar Ray Eckert and Lama Aarrud.
Marion graduated high school class of 1947 from the Northwest Nazarene Academy in Nampa, Idaho. After High School she moved to Pendleton, Oregon, became friends with Marjorie A. Perry, who would become her sister-in-law, after introducing Marion to her future husband, Dale H. Perry. Marion worked the bank in Pendleton and then took on the job she loved the most, being a mother and wife. In 1979 she and Dale moved to Zillah, WA to open D&M Foods in Toppenish, WA. Marion worked by Dale’s side as skilled bookkeeper and still kept her family and home running smoothly, including her beloved garden.
Upon retirement from D&M Foods, Marion opened her own business, Grandma’s Happy Daycare in her home. She loved children with all her heart. She enjoyed nurturing her little ones and never thought of it as work.
She is survived by her children, Mike W. Perry, Allen W. Perry, Bobbi McCamish, Tammy J. Robillard, and Richard H. Perry; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her brother and sister in law Duane Perry and Sharon Perry.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Burial will follow in the Zillah Cemetery. Condolences can be left for the family at www.valleyhillsfh.com
