Mario Vela

Mario G. Vela nació en el estado de Monterrey, México, el 8 de diciembre de 1967, hijo de Magdaleno Vela y Eva Garza Vela (fallecida). En 1986, en Wapato, WA, Mario conoció al amor de su vida, María P. Vela. Se casaron el 28 de noviembre de 1987 y, ledieron la bienvenida a su primer hijo, Mario Vela Jr., seguido de Esteban H. Vela y, posteriormente, Magdalena H. Vela. Mario fue un esposo, padre, abuelo y padrino de muchos a que los amaba. Sus nietos, Derek Pruneda Jr. y Logan Vela, fueron una fuente de alegría en su vida. Siempre se sintió orgulloso de su Esposa, Hijos y Nietos, quienes fueron su mayor fortaleza durante su batalla contra el cáncer. Además de su amor por la familia, Mario fue un apasionado de los deportes. Disfrutaba cada partido de sus equipos favoritos;Los Tigres, Los Seattle Seahawks, y Los Marineros, celebrando cada victoria con entusiasmo y pasión. Luchó con determinación, sin perder nunca la fe en Dios. A pesar del dolor, siempre regaló una sonrisa y extendió sus manos a familiares y amigos, igualmente a todos sus Hermanos y Hermanas: Leno Vela, Adam Vela, Javier Vela, Yolanda Vela, y Olga Vela a que siempre les dio el amor como Hermano. Su espíritu inquebrantable y su amor permanecerán en nuestros corazones para siempre. Mario Vela será recordado como un Valiente Guerrero.     Mario G. Vela was born in the state of Monterrey, Mexico, on December 8, 1967, parents; Magdaleno Vela and Eva Garza Vela(deceased). In 1986, in Wapato, WA, Mario met the love of his life, María P. Vela. They married on November 28, 1987, and welcomed their first son, Mario Vela Jr., followed by Esteban H. Vela and later, Magdalena H. Vela. Mario was an exemplary husband, father, grandfather and godfather to those he loved. His grandchildren, Derek Pruneda Jr. and Logan Vela, were a great source of joy in his life. He was always proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren, they were his greatest strength during his battle against cancer. Beyond his love for his family, Mario was passionate about sports. He enjoyed every game of his favorite teams—Los Tigres, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Mariners—celebrating each victory with enthusiasm and passion. He fought with determination, never losing his faith in God. Despite the pain, he always carried a smile and extended his hands to family and friends. He also shared a deep love with all his brothers and sisters; Leno Vela, Adam Vela, Javier Vela, Yolanda Valdez, and Olga Vela always embracing them with the warmth of a true brother. His unwavering spirit and love will remain in our hearts forever. Mario Vela will always be remembered as a Brave Warrior.
