Mario E. Morales passed away peacefully on January 29 at 12:50 a.m. He was a loving, giving man whose presence could fill a room and whose absence will be deeply felt.

Mario was the kind of man who loved to shoot the shit—he walked his walk and talked his talk, always genuine and always himself. He had a big heart and an easy laugh, and he never hesitated to help someone in need. If you needed a hand, advice, or even the shirt off his back, Mario was there—no questions asked.

Above all, Mario loved his children and his grandchildren with everything he had. They were his pride, his joy, and his greatest legacy. He also loved good beer, good music, and good company—especially the kind that came with stories, laughter, and long conversations.

Mario lived life on his own terms, with loyalty, humor, and generosity. He leaves behind family and many friends who will carry his stories, his lessons, and his spirit forward.

He will be remembered for his heart, his honesty, and the way he made people feel seen and welcomed. Mario will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Mario was preceded in death by his loving parents, Josephine and Louie Morales; his sister, Maricela Morales; and his brother, Leroy Morales.

He is survived by his sisters, Cecilia Morales and Anita Morales; his brother, Michael Morales; his children, Mario A. Morales, Danielle Morales, Cody Briggs, David Morales (Ahreum), Carlos Morales (Rosie), and Christopher Morales (Angela), numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dad, you will be greatly missed by us all.
