Marilyn Delores Schrump went to be with her Lord and Savior September 24, 2025.

Born February 21, 1938 in Tennessee to Lula and Norman Morrow, the second of three daughters. At a young age, the family moved to the Granger area, where she graduated from Granger high school in 1956. She was a majorette and in the chorus. She came from a family of singers, as her mother was in the Grand Ole Opry in 1934. Her and her sisters sang and recorded.

She married Bill Vaughn in 1957, together they had three children, Tamra, Steve, And Julie. Mom loved being a mother and a homemaker, cooking all her southern dishes for family and friends.

She married Steve Schrump in 1979. Together they traveled while he was a pipefitter. Papa and grandma Schrump were very involved in their grandchildren’s lives and love attending activities and holidays to be around them.

Mom was an amazing woman who love her Lord and her family with all her heart. She lived her life of faith, her Bible always by her chair and well-read. She was a gentle, kind soul, and everyone who knew her was blessed to be part of her life, and she was blessed being a part of theirs. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and friends.

Mom is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Steve Schrump, sister Glenna Carlton, Lajuana Bridges, half Sister Linda Marie, Caroline Sue, and granddaughter Stephanie Tudor Leech.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Tamra Cyr, Julie (Andrew) Tudor, and Steve Vaughn, grandchildren Nathan, Alissa, Stevie Joe, Josh, Kelly, Tracy and Andy and many great-grandchildren. Half brothers Norm(Linda) Morrow, and big John Morrow, niece Kristi (Brian) Messer, and nephew Flint (Amy)Carlton.

May you rest in the arms of Jesus until we see you again, Precious Mamma.
