Maria Manzo

Maria Manzo 88 of Sunnyside passed away on February 19, 2016. She lived in Sunnyside with her sister, Genoveva Ibarra. She was born in Michoacan Mexico and came to the United States in 1963 when she moved to Los Angles California. She continued working hard to provide for her mother that she cared for until she passed away. After her mothers death she moved to Sunnyside. She loved kids and loved to go for walks and help at Saint Josephs Catholic Church. Maria was devoted to the Catholic Church. Maria is survived by her sister: Genoveva Ibarra, brother: Pedro Manzo, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both her parents: Antonio Manzo and Gregoria Mendoza, sisters: Delfina, Valentina and Guadalupe Manzo and one brother Antonio Manzo. Viewing and visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Thursday February 25, 2016 at Saint Josephs Catholic Church in Sunnyside followed by graveside services at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sunnyside.
