Maria Maciel

Maria Socorro Maciel, 49, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Maciel was born in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico. She lived in the Yakima area since 2000. She was a licensed child care provider since 2001. Survivors include her husband, Jose Maciel; a son, Jose Angel Maciel; a daughter, Carina Maciel, all of Yakima; her father, Benjamin Bejarano of Mexico; four sisters, Maria de Jesus Bejarano of California and Maria del Carmen Bejarano, Maria Bejarano and Teresa Bejarano, all of Mexico; and six brothers, Jose Bejarano, Salvador Bejarano, Roberto Bejarano, Benjamin Bejarano, Javier Bejarano and Jose Bejarano, all of Mexico. Visitation was Monday at Yakima Valley Funeral Home, Yakima. Burial will be in Mexico at a later date.
