Margaret Grimes

Margaret “Peggy” Grimes died June 6, 2017, at Summitview Health Care Center in Yakima. Peggy had lived in Yakima for the last seventeen years following the death of her husband of 58 years, A.E. “Bud” Grimes. Besides her son Barry, Peggy is survived by her grandson Ben Grimes, her great granddaughter MacKenzie Grimes, her sister Gloria Krause, niece Lori Cordova, and grand nieces Lauren, Kate, and Andrea. Peggy loved her family one and all, up the sky and down again. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband “Bud”, father George, mother Delta, sister Delva, and brother Joe. Peggy believed in the hymn “In The Garden”, Saint Francis, a well-kept house, the 1954 Cleveland Indians, the color yellow, white clouds on a blue sky, being ready for the rainy day, and that everyone else goes first. There will be a gathering of family and friends in honor of Peggy at the RiverHouse at a later time.
