Marcelino Aguilar

April 27, 1931 — July 31, 2015

Marcelino V. Aguilar joined the love of his life at our Lords side on July 31,2015. He was born on April 27th 1931 in Llera, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Luis Aguilar and Manuela Vazquez. After coming to the United States on several occasions to work, he finally made Mabton his permanent home in 1990. Marcelino was most happy at the river with a fishing pole in his hand, driving tractor, spending time with his family, tending to his garden, watching Mexican westerns and Sabado Gigante. On his down time, he built tea sets, dog houses and wove hammocks for his grandchildren. His smile was infectious and would light up the room. Marcelino was a very humble and compassionate person who cared for his disabled wife during her last years of life and for that his family is forever grateful. He was a very giving and hardworking man who worked for Lupo fresh and Emerald Ranches up until fall of 2014. He was looking forward to hop harvest season this year but unfortunately his life was cut short. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 52 years Germana L. Aguilar. He is survived by his children Vicente(Petra)Tovar Mabton,WA; Gilberto (Zeferina)Tovar Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico; Jaqueline Haidee Aguilar Ferndale, WA; Alma Tovar, Salem, OR; Blanca(Demetrio) Morales, Salem, OR; Guadalupe(Andrea) Aguilar of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas,Mexico.
