In Loving Memory of Malik James Saldaña
February 2, 2026 – May 3, 2026
Malik James Saldaña, the beloved son of Malyah Saldaña, peacefully entered his eternal rest on May 3, 2026. During his three months with us, Malik brought immense joy and a powerful sense of hope to everyone who knew him.
Born on February 2, 2026, with Trisomy 13, Malik was a true warrior from his very first breath. He spent his life beating the odds that were set against him, showing a remarkable strength and resilience that inspired all who witnessed his journey. He truly thrived during his final weeks on this side of heaven—a testament to his spirit and the profound care he received.
Malik was a curious and observant baby who had already begun to recognize the sound of his own name. Some of his most peaceful moments were spent tucked in close, listening to his mother, Malyah, sing him to sleep—a melody he surely carries with him into eternity.
Malik was the heart of a large, devoted family. While his time was far too short, the depth of the love he received was immeasurable. He is survived and deeply missed by his mother, Malyah Saldaña; his grandparents, Marsiano Jr. and Priscilla Saldaña; his aunts, Mykaela and Mireya Saldaña; his uncle, Fabyan Saldaña; and his older cousin, Mylo Saldaña. He also leaves behind an extensive support system of family and friends who cherished every moment spent with him.
