He met the love of his life Maria Elena Cienfuegos in San Nicolas Mexico in the
summer of 1948, they later married on December 30th
, 1961 making Granger his
home until the Lord called him home. His early years he worked side by side with
his wife until retiring, this allowed him to spend his free time devoted to her.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, always taking his wife wherever
she pleased. Voting was something he made sure to do when ballots came out, he
believed he made a difference… in our minds and hearts he did! He set a good
example for his children and grandchildren to follow. We will try to do our best
grandpa to always make you proud.
He was an active member of the catholic church Our Lady of Guadalupe in Granger,
actively involved as a eucharistic minister and assisting with any event.
He managed to make us laugh not only with his contagious laughter that was heard
from across any room but also his sense of humor. He spent any spare time
watching his novelas and if we wanted to know what was going on he always
managed to have the latest scoop. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of
knowing him. We love you dad, grandpa, abuelo.
