Ma Garcia

On the morning of April 15, 2020 Maria Guadalupe Navarro Garcia (Lupe) of Sunnyside gained her wings and joined the Angels in Heaven. Lupe was born to Reyes Navarro Sr. and Esperanza Mojica in Tecuastitan municipality of La Huerta Jalisco MX. Lupe married the love of her life Raul Garcia in 1984 and together raised four very energetic but beautiful children, Eduardo (Lalo), Alicia, Ali and Adrian. Lupe was a devoted mother and wife who worked as a farm laborer and Packaging lead at a fruit packaging warehouse while raising her children. After raising her four kids, Lupe had a strong desire to continue her education. She went back to school. Worked very hard and obtained her GED and CNA certificate in 2013. She went to work at Sun Terrace as a resident activity Director. She loved her job and her residents. When she was not at work she was probably shopping. Lupe had a contagious smile that would light up the darkest days and a warmth in her eyes that spilled nothing but love. She was a humble and nurturing woman anyone who she interacted with was forever touched with the kindness she spread. She was a social butterfly and would not miss a Quince, birthday party, wedding or Baptism and was probably the last to arrive to the event. If it was a potluck the rice was always late. She loved watching football and spending time with her nine grandkids who she loved with all her heart. Lupe’s generosity and friendship were always unconditional to her friends and family.
