Obituary Luis Chavez Valencia Luis Chavez Valencia born on August 24, 1939 in Michoacán Mexico He passed away on August 7, 2015 in Sunnyside Washington He liked horses and singing birds. He loved animals and exotics ones too. He loved nature. Luis is survived by his wife of 58 years Maria Chavez, Sons:Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Chavez, Gildardo Chavez, Francisco Javier Chavez, Daughters: were Alma Lorena Chavez, Martha Leticia Chavez, Veronica Alejandra Chavez and his 3 siblings Ramon Chavez, Rafaela Chavez and Antonio Morfin and his 3 nephews and 3 nieces and his 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren Preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Concepción Chavez his son Miguel Chavez and his brother Jose Maria Chavez. Viewing and visitation will be held 4:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday August 13, 2014 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Friday August 14, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholich Church in Mabton, followed by a horse drawn procession to graveside services at the Mabton Cemetery.
