Louise Van Corbach

Louise Mae (Fay) Van Corbach, 82 of Granger, passed away at Astria Sunnyside Hospital, Saturday June 17, 2023. Louise was born in Grandview, WA January 3, 1941, to Lewis and Esther (Detgen) Fay. She married her husband James Van Corbach after 3 ½ years of courtship on June 20, 1959. They were blessed with 3 children. Louise worked at United Telephone, ONB Bank, and Pacific Power and Light. When Pacific Power and Light closed its doors, she went to YVCC and received her Computer Science Degree in 1999, then worked for the Granger School District. Louise is survived by daughter Cindy (Frank) DeBock of Grandview, sons James Jr. (Darla) and David (Jennifer) Van Corbach of Sunnyside, brothers Gerald (Pearl) and Ben Fay, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Jim, brothers Bill and Arnold Fay. There will be a reception held at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside, 531 S. 16th St., at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 26th.
