Louisa Botkin

Louisa E. Botkin, 91, of Yakima died Thursday at Good Samaritan. Mrs. Botkin was born in Pocatello, Idaho, and lived in the Yakima Valley for many years. She was a nutritionist/cook and worked for Hills Cafe, Workman’s Cafe, Al’s Cafe and later at Crescent Nursing Home. Survivors include four daughters, Nona Gunnoe of Wapato, Shirley Baugher of Prosser, Joan Jerome of Joliet, Ill., and Charleen Kelly of Yakima; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. There will be no services. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
