Lorenzo Joe Miller Lorenzo Miller, known to some as “Lo” or “Papa Lo”, was born on October 1, 1953 in, Louisiana to Clarence and Ivory Jewel Hart Miller. He was the only child for his mother Ivory. Papa Lo served in the Army, was a truck driver and a Mechanic. The job that gave him the most satisfaction was being a Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDP). His final position was held at Comprehensive Healthcare in Pasco, WA where he approached every client the same, with compassion and dedication because he truly enjoyed helping people in addiction. He was an avid fisherman and looked forward to spending time on any river bank, but particularly in Moses Lake, WA. His love for cars attracted many people and one in particular, Rita Horton, became his wife. They were avid members of Morning Star COGIC where they both served faithfully. Although they later divorced, he remained close to her family and shared loving relationships with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Following a long period of illness, he departed this life on Friday January 27th, 2023, at his home in Pasco, WA. He was preceded in death by his Mother Ivory Jewel Hart Miller. He leaves to mourn: His daughters, Keisha Henderson of Tacoma, WA, Tujuana Hunter (Chet) of Auburn, WA, Nekima Horton of Dallas TX, Naomi Wright (Roy) Yakima. 10 grands and many great grands whom he spoke with almost every day, and a host of cousins, friends and coworkers that will miss him.
