Lola Franz Ingalsbe Myers went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2017.
She was born July 10, 1925 in Lind, Washington but spent most of her
life in the Yakima Valley, first in Toppenish, then near Wapato, in Yakima,
and in Selah.
She was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Gretna Franz, her
siblings Doris Sinner and Elmer Franz, her daughter Phyllis at age 4, her
granddaughter Elizabeth Karl, daughter-in-law Terry Ingalsbe, son-in-law
Charles Morrisey, and her husbands Robert Ingalsbe and Russell Myers.
She is survived by her children Carol Morrisey, Glen Ingalsbe and Roger
Ingalsbe; grandchildren: Tim and Angie Ingalsbe, Trevor (Alicia) and Sean Morrisey,
and Susanna (Tony) Rowser; great-grandchildren Anton Karl, Lily Morrisey, Damarius
and Dominic Rowser; and several nieces and nephews.
Lola graduated from Toppenish High School in 1943. She married Robert
Ingalsbe June 17, 1945 and they were divorced in 1971. She was married to
Russell Myers from July 9, 1990 until his death September 8, 2002. She was
a gifted bookkeeper and office worker, employed in the Yakima
County Courthouse, mostly in the license department, from 1972 until
retirement.
Lola was a member of the Yakima Grace Brethren Church for 40 years and
later belonged to the Yakima Church of God for over 20 years. She loved the
Lord Jesus and always found him faithful since she came to know Him at age 19.
She rejoiced that all her children know the Lord too. She loved gospel music,
often singing solos and in the choir. Lola will be remembered as kind and
warmhearted, often sharing little treats with her friends’ children. She also
had a card ministry for years, remembering birthdays and other occasions.
A Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel (2600 Business Ln., Yakima). Online condolences can be posted at www.valleyhillsfh.com
