Lois Jean (Tomlinson) Bolt was born in College Place, Washington to Walter Byron Tomlinson and Ruby May (Nelson) Tomlinson on March 26, 1925 and passed away on October 3, 2015 at the Toppenish Community Hospital. On August 16, 1947 she married Ed Bolt and started a family. Lois was a secretary for Dayton Reality and a loan closer for Washington Mutual Bank. She was also the post President of the Local Women’s Club. Lois loved to fish right along side her dad, play cribbage, and admire her Iris and tulips when they were in bloom.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband: Frank E. Bolt on September 4th, 1978, sisters: Dorothy Irene Peay and Margaret Ellen Strickland.
Lois is survived by her children Dean E. Bolt (Kelly) of Sunnyside WA, Sharon Saunders (Tim) of Bandera Texas, Thomas Bolt of Puyallup WA, Loretta Larson of Shoreline WA, and Betty Owens (Russ) of Aberdeen WA, Brothers; Don Tomlinson (Eleanor) of Walla Walla WA, and Ray Tomlinson (Verla) of Spokane WA. Lois is also survived by; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm March 26, 2016 at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens In Sunnyside. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements. Condolences can be sent to www.valleyhillsfh.com
