Lloyd Donald Johnson

Lloyd was born in a cabin in Paonia, Colorado. His father Ole Leo Johnson and mother Helen Elizabeth (Greer) Johnson. Lloyd was the youngest, Ted, Helen, Shirley, Verna, and Jerry. Lloyd Shirley, Verna, and Jerry were raised by their grandparents, Arthur and Dessie after their parents die by the time Lloyd was 4, they are preceded in death and all have reunited in heaven. Lloyd then lived between Lockwood, Missouri and Yakima, Washington growing up. He married Rosella “Sue” Roberts and together had Misty Johnson as a daughter, after their divorce, he married Virginia Soliz, he raised her daughter as his own, and they also had 3 more daughters Christy, Danielle, and Deanna. After his divorce, Lloyd met Lurinda (Lori) Alderman and they had Tonja. They did not marry, and Lloyd then met Sue Schuster and had their daughter, Charli. Lloyd never married again. In his life, he also joined the Navy and had honorable medical discharge. He hitchhiked the 48 continental states. He was the first man to complete the Nursing program at YVCC and became the second nurse man to work at memorial hospital.
He said his life was an adventure full of misadventures. His stories are great and his legacy lives on through his family. 7 daughters, 19 grandkids, 24 great grandkids and counting. Misty Leingang of Yakima had Timothy and Krystal, Donna Tierney of Puyallup had Veronica, John, and Diamond, Christy Lorenzano (Milcar) of Selah had Elijah and Celina, Deanna (DeeDee) Esqueda of Toppenish had Vanessa, Cassandra and Breanna. Danielle (Dani) Basa of Zillah had Mario Jr., Valerie, Victoria and Daija. Tonja Raker (Matt) had Ashlynn and Brandon. Charli Keifer (Ken) of Yakima had Zoe, Laila, and Brinah.
Lloyds legacy and memory lives on through his family and all the friends he made in his life. A truly remarkable and amazing man.
He will be missed by all
